To be eligible for admission to a CBC program, you must satisfy the following conditions:
Age Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age to be able to apply
English Requirements
- IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 5.5 (with no individual band below 5.0), or
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE A): minimum score of 42 (with no band less than 36), or
- Evidence of foundation studies in Australia or
- Undertake CBC placement test
Minimum Academic Requirement
Qualification equivalent to Australia Year 12
plus any course specific requirements.
Visa requirements
The student visa you need depends on your chosen course of study. As a guide, the typical key requirements you will need to meet are:
- Issued an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) certificate
- Meet the Genuine Temporary Entrant requirement (GTE)
- Sufficient funds for airfares, course fees and living costs
- English language proficiency
- Meet health and character requirements
- Acceptable Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
